Active Military Banner
The City of Turlock is proud to recognize Turlock residents who are actively serving in the Armed Forces through the Active Military Banner Program! Banners will be displayed on Countryside Drive, installed on a first come first serve basis and pending a verification process. Banner term runs from November to November.
Below is our Active Military Banner Application. The completed application along with the below listed documents must be turned into the Municipal Services Department, Recreation Division located at 144 S. Broadway during the office hours of 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday.- Proof of residency (honoree or applicant) ex. Copy of recent Utility Bill or valid California ID
- Proof of Service ex. U.S. Military ID, copy of orders or enlistment/Reenlistment document
- Official Service Picture (size 4x6 or larger is best)
In the event a sponsor is not secured applicants will be responsible for covering the cost of the banners (~$250.00).
At the close of each banner term, a retirement ceremony will be held to recognize honorees and banners will be presented to the applicant/family.
